Cookie policy

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Local storage and IndexedDB are similar in purpose but live only in your browser and are never sent to a server with each request. Both are used for the same basic jobs: keeping you signed in, remembering your choices, and understanding how the site is used.

When you sign in, Supabase Auth sets session cookies so the site can remember that you are signed in from page to page, and protect the account area. These cookies are essential, without them, signing in cannot work. They are removed when you sign out or when the session expires. You can use the studio without an account, in which case none of these cookies are set.

Your saved caption styles, font choices and recent projects are kept in your browser's local storage and IndexedDB, on your device, not on our servers. They exist so the studio remembers your settings and restores recent work when you come back. Deleting them (below, or in your browser settings) removes your saved preferences completely, because there is no server copy.

No analytics or advertising cookies are used. The site does not load any analytics or ad scripts, so no third party sets cookies through it.

Every major browser lets you see the cookies a site has stored, delete them, and block cookies entirely, look in your browser's settings under privacy or site data. Blocking or deleting cookies does not break the studio: captioning works with cookies blocked, and only signing in requires the essential session cookies.

The button below clears this site's local storage and IndexedDB in your browser, saved preferences, recent projects and offline caches. It does not affect your account data in Supabase, and it does not touch cookies; those are managed from your browser settings.
