Terms of service

By using OneDrop, browsing the site or captioning a video, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service.

These terms apply to the whole site, including the studio, the account area and every page under this domain.

OneDrop is a free video caption generator. You drop in a video, the audio is transcribed and the captions are rendered, and you download the result as MP4 (with burned-in captions), SRT, VTT or TXT.

Your video file never leaves your device. By default, only a compressed audio track is sent to the transcription provider and is deleted immediately after processing, it is not stored. On capable devices you can opt in to on-device processing instead. The studio works without an account.

You can use OneDrop without an account. If you create one, it runs on Supabase Auth with an email address and password. We store your name, email, plan and account settings, nothing else about you.

You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for anything that happens under your account. If you believe someone else has access to it, change your password and email us at s.owaisaliavengers@gmail.com.

OneDrop is free to use, with optional paid plans:

• Free, no account needed, 3 caption styles, no watermark, 2 minutes of audio per day (resets at 00:00 UTC) and videos up to 2 minutes.
• Paid plans, Starter, Pro and Studio are optional MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTIONS. Each plan adds a monthly allowance of caption minutes and unlocks features: Starter keeps the 3 core caption styles with 4 curated fonts; Pro adds the 6 exclusive styles (2 insane + 4 clean builds) and unlimited fonts; Studio unlocks all 27 styles plus font uploads. Boost accuracy and Music cleanup are on Pro and Studio. Boost minutes draw from the same monthly allowance. Minutes reset each billing cycle and unused minutes do not roll over. Each plan renews automatically every month until cancelled; see the pricing page for the current plans.

Usage limits can change as the service grows. If they do, we will update the pricing page and these terms, and the change will apply going forward.

Your videos and the captions you create belong to you. We claim no rights and no license over your video, the video file never leaves your device. Only compressed audio is processed by the transcription provider, deleted immediately after, and never stored.

The only content we hold is your account data (name, email, plan, settings) and, if you save them, your brand styles. By creating an account you give us a limited license to store and process that data for the sole purpose of running the service, nothing more.

You are responsible for having the rights needed to use and caption the videos you process, for example, you own the footage or have permission from whoever does.

You agree not to:

• use the service for illegal content or content that harms others;
• infringe anyone's rights, including copyright, privacy and publicity rights;
• abuse, scrape or attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorized access to the service;
• resell or rebrand the service, or offer it as your own product, without our written permission.

We may investigate suspected misuse and suspend accounts involved in it (see Termination below).

Captions are generated automatically and transcription is never perfect. Background noise, accents, overlapping speakers and specialized vocabulary all produce mistakes.

Always review captions before publishing them. We do not guarantee transcription accuracy for any language or accent, and we are not responsible for errors that reach the public because a transcript was not reviewed.

OneDrop is provided as is. We work hard to keep it available, but the service may change, be interrupted or stop, and features may be added, changed or removed, including which features belong to which plan.

We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we are not liable for downtime or lost work. Because your work happens in your browser, exporting your captions regularly is the best protection.

When you need more than the free allowance, you subscribe to a plan, Starter, Pro or Studio, billed monthly at the price shown at checkout. A payment activates the plan for one billing cycle: its monthly allowance of caption minutes resets each cycle and unused minutes do not roll over. The plan renews automatically every month until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your Lemon Squeezy receipt link, cancelling stops future renewals only; access continues until the end of the paid period.

The checkout page shows the exact monthly price and renewal terms before you pay, and payments are processed by our payment provider (Lemon Squeezy). Refunds are handled under the refund policy. If you are ever charged for something you did not buy, email s.owaisaliavengers@gmail.com.

The OneDrop site, its design, the OneDrop name, the logo and the code that runs the service belong to their creator and are protected by law. You get no rights to any of that beyond the right to use the service itself. Your videos and captions remain yours, as described above.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be accurate, uninterrupted or error-free. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OneDrop and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms, for example, for abuse of the service or unlawful use. We will email you about it when we can.

You can stop using OneDrop at any time. To delete your account and its data, email s.owaisaliavengers@gmail.com from your account email and we will remove it.

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Using the service from another country does not change that, though you may have non-waivable rights under your local law.

We may update these terms as the service changes. The "Last updated" date at the top changes with every revision, and material changes will be flagged on the site. Continuing to use OneDrop after a change means you accept the updated terms.
